Remote Culture

Arqaam works through a network of consultants all over the world. To support this setup Arqaam promotes:

Free choice of location: Everyone working with Arqaam can choose where to work from (unless travel is required for a project).

Flexible working hours: As long as agreed deliverable deadlines are adhered to, associates are free to set their own working hours.

Communicating asynchronously: To support smooth communication across time zones and in respect of different work styles, Arqaam believes in communicating using open-channels and chat tools. The communication channel should be chosen according to the necessity of the task, where emails should be the exception. Arqaam uses Slack, and even though it is a chat tool, people should not expect immediate responses, but rather clarify when it is urgent.

Results-focused; Rather than focusing on hours put in.

Work/life balance: Arqaam believes that associates perform at their best when they are able to live a fulfilling life outside of work. Arqaam does not glorify long working hours or weekend work.

Written processes: Arqaam provides clear written processes that help support associates to undertake new tasks with efficiency and in alignment with standards.
