Remote evaluation
Evaluation

DRC Afghanistan commissioned us to conduct a final evaluation of an EU-funded project in the Eastern province of Nangarhar. Our goal was to assess to which extent local and national conflict resolution and peace processes have been built or strengthened through the promotion of women’s rights, participation and decision-making power at community level. Following the OECD DAC criteria, we used a mixed method approach using two different quantitative surveys, one an endline survey and the other a perception survey. On top of that we conducted focus group discussions and the most significant change approach. The latter allowed the women to speak openly of what changed for them and we learnt a lot that the quantitative surveys would have never told us.
